Location

Not far from the accommodation is a trail leading to the Nomenj climbing wall/spot. One kilometre away, you will see the Sava Bohinjka river and in its close proximity are the “Hemin plavž” (remains of a 17th century metallurgical plant, but which, according to popular belief, belonged to St Hema) and the Grmečica waterfall, where you can, among other things, experience canyoning (the activity is carried out by a Bled-based company - Altitude Activities). The water itself is in public domain, but the land under and around the waterfall is in the property of the Apartment Rupnik’s owner, which enables you to move freely on and around the site.

There are also a bus and a train station in the accommodation’s close vicinity.

In Bohinjska Bistrica, within 5 km, is the Aquapark and Wellness Bohinj.

During winter, Bohinj offers a lot of possibilities for skiing. With Vogel Ski Center, Ski resort Soriška Planina, Senožeta Ski Slope and Sports Centre Triglav Pokljuka you can have your pick. You can also indulge in cross-country skiing and sledding. In the winter months, there is a covered ice rink in Bohinjska Bistrica. All year round, Bohinj’s Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj provides visitors with relaxation, while Ranč Mrcina caters to lovers of horse riding.

The nearest airport - Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport - is located 35 kilometres away from Apartmaji Rupnik.
